I am genuinely touched! A reader has organized a fund raiser to help pay to replace the greenhouse and door at Blue, as well as to build a fence to prevent future damage. **For those who are not aware, the blog post explaining the vandalism is HERE.
The goal amount is based on the replacement cost of the greenhouse itself (which was brand new), fencing supplies, and a new entry door. At this point, we have the door repaired as best we can to make it as secure as possible but, given overall damage, it's only temporary and will need either more significant repair or full replacement in the near future.
No matter how much is raised, it does my heart good to know that I have touched people to the point that they would do something like this to try to help my family.
