Today has been a lovely day so far…
I got to sleep in until 8:00, which is unheard of. Then I hooked up our stove, using the fittings that I FINALLY found, after scouring stores in three different towns plus ordering online from a supplier that clearly doesn’t understand that measurements are supposed to actually correspond with the size of the fitting.
And, yes….I did stand in my kitchen & yell “I have made fire!” Castaway-style, when the burner lit for the first time. Then, for the first time, I was able to cook a meal in The Cottage without having to crank the generator & the quiet was GLORIOUS!
